Dorothy Dinh
MIS Manager & Strategist
As a graduate from the University of British Columbia, Dorothy brings her extensive research experience in academia to the team as the MIS (Management-Information-Systems) Manager and Strategist. Specifically, Dorothy specializes in data collection and analytics, optimizing workflows, developing standard methodologies, and digital marketing. Therefore, her primary responsibilities on the team requires her to leverage her research skills in order to contribute to creating social media strategies and optimizing outreach through various social media platforms. In addition, Dorothy is responsible for optimizing workflow within the company, administrative duties, and email communications. You may also occasionally see her Live Stream on the Namee Park Amazon Live channel.
Aside from her role within the company, Dorothy is an entrepreneur with three businesses she co-founded alongside her fiancé. With a limited background in marketing, business, and digital media, she was required to independently learn management and marketing and its associated responsibilities. As a result, her career and entrepreneur journey has been an incredibly rewarding learning experience for her. She hopes to double her revenue by 2024 from her entrepreneurial pursuits.
Dorothy is also pursuing law as she recognizes that the law has the ability to be used to mitigate the oppression that continues to perpetuate society and culture. Persons in law also utilize the law to address systemic issues. Moreover, she is enthusiastic about mobilizing the law to empower others and protect their fundamental human rights.
Outside of work and entrepreneurship, you can probably find Dorothy at a restaurant trying new food because she is a certified foodie!
